    I installed this unit in a 92 dodge 4X4 deisel pickup. The blue tooth works really well, my truck is fairly loud because of the deisel engine and the tires. While driving the called party can hear some background noise but my voice is loud and clear above it. I have called my own answer machine to check it. The radio and CD player work well, I also bought the HD radio adapter and it all sounds good. Like so many new things these days it has a lot of features, but navigating the menu while driving is nearly impossible. I set everything up in my driveway now I just drive and live with it. I wish they still had old fashion bass and treble nobs because making changes require navigating through the menus. I would say the inability to make simple adjustments easily is the biggest downfall. All in all I like the unit and would definitely recommend it.

    Bought this to plug iPod into on the boat. Works well, the controls are somewhat complicated and it looses the presets when we turn everything off upon leaving the boat. Allows the iPod/iPhone to control the player. Also plays other MP3s from memory stick. The installation was straightforward.

    An almost inconceivably bad interface. For instance, pausing your iPod or a CD is top secret, and can only be accomplished after reviewing your manual. Whoever created this interface is to be pitied.
