I have had this installed in my truck now for about 2-3 months. And have had time to test all the major features: USB port, AUX port, CD (mp3,wav,wma files) as well as the pioneer tuner.
The USB port works well with all my flash drives and plugged directly into my MP3 player(a Sansa clip). The deck is able to read both folder and file names although it does at times change the sorting order especially when listing numerically.
The AUX port also works well with the MP3 player connected directly to the speaker output... HOWEVER using my Sansa clip there is a significant decrease in VOLUME level compared to other sources such as the CD or Tuner. The deck has a Volume compensation feature but even on the HIGHEST setting the AUX input remain low compared to other sources. If you plan to use the AUX port for MP3, ipod or iphone input and like to switch between sources alot... you may find the constant volume adjustments a bit inconvenient.
